I've sort of accomplished that, this post will be more in the format I first envisioned. Tell me if you like it.

----======+Journal Entry+=====----

I got a book today called BURNED. It's by Ellen Hopkins and it's possibly one of the best books I've ever read. I got it second block at the Media Center and have only read in class spare time and I'm already on page 230. I also got the first book in the Georgia Nicholson collection. They're really girly books but Alexandra said they're good, so I'm going to read them.

Lately I've felt so strange. Strange in the head. Am I crazy? Nah, crazy people don't wonder if they're crazy. Do they? Who knows. I'm not violent or anything so I don't think it matters.
Life has just been so lifey lately.
Some would say I'm having a crisis of faith, but 'crisis' kind of has a negative connotation doesn't it? I mean, I don't see it as a crisis. I see it as Enlightenment, Samhadi, Awakening, Sanctification, whatever religious word you want to use. Woody Guthrie is a good singer.
His guitar had a sign on it that said "This Machine Kills Fascists"
Yeah? Well THIS machine kills fascists. Except I'm a Quaker... So THIS machine writes an angry letter to fascists.

You know who I admire?

Thích Quảng Đức
He was a Buddhist monk in Vietnam. Buddhists were being persecuted by the government. So you know what he did in protest?

HE SET HIMSELF ON FIRE
Here's an actual picture. They say he didn't move or say a thing.

It's been voted one of the best pictures of century. I forgot by who.

How the Hell is Trent Lott Our Senator?

I mean, really. HOW the hell is Trent
Lott our Senator?

I was just thinking about politics, with
Obama announcing his candidacy and all. And I was looking at who's
running our state.

Let's learn a little bit about Trent
Lott.

December 5, 2002, Trent Lott attends the birthday of
Strom Thurmon. Thurmond was a presidential candidate of a party
called the Dixiecrats which strongly supported racial
segregation.
You know what our dear senator says at this
event?
"When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted
for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had
followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over the
years, either"

It gets better.

1. Voted
against the continuation of the Civil Rights Act (Making
discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national
origin.
2. Opposed Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
3. Member of
Council of Conservative Citizens (Basically a white supremacist
group)
4. The Star Wars character Lott Dod was named after him

People define others by certain dictionaries. One dictionary is race.
One dictionary is character. Another could be religion. What dictionary
do you define others by?

======================================================================================================
Philosophy Part Two

I think I'm am frequently visited by spiritual beings in fleshy
clothes. These beings stay in my life for a weeks up to a year. They
always make me think deeper though. Down the rabbit hole. Then they
leave, like a rolling stone. Like a complete unknown. (Pardon lyrical
references).
They come in many shapes and sizes.

The first was a guy was named Trey M. Through him I learned the value
of music as a spiritual medium. I learned how difficult it was to
create music. We formed a band named Valid. I was the vocalist (because
I had no other skills). The music was just an excuse to hang out
though, really. He then moved. He is still in a band called Valid, and
you can find them here:
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=76430420

The next guy was named Ben R. We also had deep conversations. They were
much deeper than the ones Trey and I had, they were also usually pretty
funny. Ben taught me the value of off-color humor. That it was OK to
laugh at death. It's an inevitable occurrence, why not embrace it? Ben
then moved.

A current one is named Billy W. Billy is teaching me that God is. Not
that God is Jewish. Not that God is in heaven. Not that God is a number
of different labels and packages. Simply that God IS. Billy is a
Buddhist. He will soon be a butterfly and leave as well, I fear.

The next one current one is Alexandra. She teaches me the most
important value. The value of love. The value that there are other
people in the world with experiences, passions, and hurts. Hurts. Hurts.
She is also teaching me how to listen more. It's hard to listen in this
noisy world. Things used to be so much more quiet. Or so I'm told.
Alexandra has stayed the longest so hopefully she stay much much
longer. Hopefully forever. As long as I don't screw up I think she
will. Her parting would be a thousand times more painful than the
previous.

One of those lame lyrics posts (Regina Spektor)

I really like the lyrics though.
Regina Spektor is bringing back Cabaret. Which is fine by me :)

Lady
Lady sing the blues so well
As if she mean it
As if it's hell down here
In the smoke-filled world
Where the jokes are cold
They don't laugh at jokes

They laugh at tragedies

Corner street societies
But they believe her
They never leave her

While she sings she make them feel things

She says, i can sing this song so blue

That you will cry in spite of you
Little wet tears on your baby's shoulder
Little wet tears on your baby's shoulder

And I have walked these streets so long
There ain't nothing right, there ain't nothing wrong
But the little wet tears on my baby's shoulder
The little wet tears on your baby's shoulder

Lady lights a cigarette, puffs away, no regret

Takes a look around, no regrets, no regrets

Stretches out like branches of a poplar tree
She says, i'm free
Sings so soft as if she'll break, says
I can sing this song so blue
That you will cry in spite of you
Little wet tears on your baby's shoulder
Little wet tears on your baby's shoulder

I have walked these streets so long
There ain't nothing right, nothing wrong
But the little wet tears on my baby's shoulder
The little wet tears on your baby's shoulder

But on this stage
I've learned to fly
Learned to sing
And learned to cry
Little wet tears on my baby's shoulder
Little wet tears on my baby's shoulder

But now it's time
To say goodbye
Some might laugh
But I will surely cry
Little wet tears on my baby's shoulder
Little wet tears on my baby's shoulder

Lady lights a cigarette

Puffs away, and winter comes

And she forgets

Does anyone know any good Cabaret style singers like her or Fiona Apple?
The female voice is so much more powerful than the man's.

The Sims 2

Is a pretty fun game.
I made my own family.
Check it.

It's me, Alex, and Krislee (the Siamese cat.)

Eccentricity
Martin Luther King Jr. OR Malcom X?

You decide.

'"We declare our right on this earth to be a human being, to be
